ACT Games’ flagship title, “Hello Kitty My Dream Store,” has climbed to the top ranks of global puzzle game charts just six months after its release. The achievement is drawing industry attention, especially as it was accomplished solely through in-house development and service—without relying on external publishers.
According to ACT Games, on October 19, “Hello Kitty My Dream Store” ranked 5th in Puzzle and 1st in Overall Games on Japan’s Apple App Store, 3rd in Puzzle and Overall Games in Taiwan, 15th overall in Hong Kong, and 198th in Puzzle in the U.S. On Google Play, it ranked 1st in Puzzle in Taiwan, 4th in Japan, 5th in Korea, 6th in Brazil, and 11th in France.
Founded in 2019, ACT Games specializes in casual games and has developed and operated five IP-based titles to date. Based on this recent success, the company secured two rounds of investment this year totaling 8 billion KRW, boosting its corporate valuation by over 30% within just six months of the first round.
Looking ahead, ACT Games plans to accelerate new IP discovery and game development. It is currently working on “Transformers Multishock,” a roguelike action game based on the Transformers IP, aiming to enter the Top 50 mobile game rankings in Japan. As part of its multi-title strategy, the company also intends to expand collaborations with globally popular IPs to become a top-tier global publisher in the “Character IP-based Casual Game” sector.
CEO Jung Sei-jin stated, “By combining global IPs, engaging gameplay, and a structured management strategy, we’ve laid the foundation to become a rising force in the mobile gaming industry by 2026. With a solid cost structure and rapid production cycle, we’ve secured a distinct competitive edge.”
