CJ Olive Young announced on the 8th that ticket sales for the “Sanrio X Olive Young Cutie Run 2025 Seoul” will begin at 10 a.m. on July 11.

The “Sanrio X Olive Young Cutie Run 2025 Seoul” is a marathon event themed around Sanrio Characters. It is hosted by SpoMax Korea, with Olive Young participating as the title sponsor.

This year’s event marks the first Sanrio-themed marathon in Korea, with 15,000 participants expected. It will take place around Yeouido Park on September 20. While Sanrio-themed runs have been held in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, this is the first time such an event is being held domestically.

The event is part of Olive Young’s first company-wide collaboration campaign with Sanrio Characters, launched on July 1. It is designed to let customers experience the brand’s core value of “healthy beauty” in everyday life.

Participants will receive a variety of commemorative items, including limited-edition “Sanrio X Olive Young Cutie Run 2025 Seoul” T-shirts, caps, and drawstring bags. Finishers will be awarded medals engraved with Sanrio Characters. The character designs used for the merchandise were specially created for this running-themed event.

Attendees will also receive wellness kits containing samples of Olive Young’s recommended products. On the day of the event, various brand booths will be set up for participants to explore.

Tickets can be purchased starting July 11 at 10 a.m. through Olive Young’s online mall and mobile app. Any Olive Young member can buy a ticket, but only one participant is allowed per ID. Duplicate purchases may be canceled, and if the applicant and participant differ, entry may be restricted.

The marathon will be a single 10km course, priced at 80,000 KRW per person. Detailed information is available on Olive Young’s online mall and mobile app.

An Olive Young representative stated, “This event was planned to offer customers a unique and memorable experience through our collaboration with Sanrio Characters, based on Olive Young’s brand values. We will continue to enhance exclusive benefits for our customers and expand brand engagement across various touchpoints.”
