ACT Games has drawn strong attention in the investment market after its global puzzle title Hello Kitty My Dream Store climbed to the top ranks of worldwide puzzle game charts and achieved a total of 8 billion KRW in consecutive investment rounds within a short period of time.
This accomplishment is particularly significant as it was achieved without relying on external publishers, through the company’s own in-house development and service operations.
ACT Games handles the entire process of development, operation, and marketing internally, optimizing its cost structure and building systems that enhance service efficiency. The company has also earned recognition for its global self-publishing capabilities, which have strengthened its position as a rising mid-sized game studio.
Thanks to these achievements, ACT Games has successfully secured a total of 8 billion KRW in external investments through two rounds this year, increasing its corporate valuation by more than 30% within just six months after the first investment, a rare short-term value-up success that has attracted significant attention from investors.
Hello Kitty My Dream Store has demonstrated strong long-term potential, showing superior early-stage revenue growth and key performance metrics compared to global hits such as Merge Mansion and Gossip Harbor.
Meanwhile, ACT Games’ upcoming roguelike action title Transformers: MultiShock, based on the Transformers IP, is currently undergoing content enhancement with a goal of entering the Top 50 mobile game rankings in Japan.
Furthermore, through a multi-title strategy, the company plans to continuously expand collaborations with globally popular IPs and aims to establish itself as a top-tier publisher in the “Character IP × Casual Game”.
To achieve this, ACT Games is leveraging each genre’s characteristics and the strengths of its licensed IPs to expand its presence across key regions, including the Western and Chinese markets—areas where Korean game companies have historically faced challenges. By combining localization strategies with its publishing expertise, ACT Games seeks to accelerate both user acquisition and revenue growth, further strengthening its global influence in the character IP casual gaming sector.
CEO Seijin Jung commented:
“Within a short period, ACT Games has successfully combined global IPs, engaging gameplay, and a systematic management strategy to establish a foundation for becoming a rising powerhouse in the global mobile gaming industry by 2026.
By integrating innovative management know-how accumulated in the manufacturing and service sectors with professional business strategies, the company has built a solid cost structure and a fast production cycle—securing a distinct competitive edge.”
In addition, ACT Games was selected by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) in March as part of the “Game Plus” program, positioning the company as an officially recognized representative of K-content. The company also participated in the Tokyo Game Show 2025 Korean Pavilion, further solidifying its international presence.
