ACT Games, a global casual game company specializing in character IP-based titles, is gaining industry attention for its standout success with “Hello Kitty My Dream Store,” which has propelled the company to new heights rarely seen among mid-sized Korean game studios.
Launched in March, “Hello Kitty My Dream Store” climbed to the top ranks of global puzzle game charts within just six months. The achievement is especially notable as it was accomplished entirely through in-house development, service, operations, and marketing—without relying on external publishers. ACT Games is recognized for optimizing its cost structure and building systems that enhance service efficiency.
Fueled by this success, ACT Games secured two rounds of external investment this year totaling 8 billion KRW. Remarkably, the company increased its valuation by over 30% within just six months of the first investment, drawing strong interest from investors.
From the outset, “Hello Kitty My Dream Store” has outperformed global hits like Merge Mansion and Gossip Harbor in revenue growth and key performance indicators, signaling strong long-term potential.
ACT Games continues to pursue a multi-title strategy leveraging globally popular IPs. Its upcoming roguelike action game “Transformers Multishock,” based on the Transformers IP, is currently undergoing content refinement with the goal of entering the Top 50 mobile game rankings in Japan.
To become a top-tier global publisher in the “Character IP × Casual Game” sector, ACT Games is actively expanding into regions traditionally challenging for Korean game companies, including Western markets and Greater China. By combining localization strategies with its own publishing capabilities, the company aims to accelerate both user acquisition and revenue growth.
CEO Jung Seㅑ-jin stated, “ACT Games has laid the foundation to become a rising force in the global mobile gaming industry by 2026, combining global IPs, engaging gameplay, and strategic management. By integrating management know-how from the manufacturing and service industries, we’ve built a differentiated cost structure and production cycle that gives us a competitive edge.”
In March, ACT Games was selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA)’s “Game Plus” program, officially recognized by the government as a leading K-content company. The company also recently showcased its work at the Korea Pavilion during Tokyo Game Show 2025, further expanding its global presence.
